Taking Care of the Children . . . In our Neighborhood

Our church desires and strives to meet needs within our neighborhood.  In September, 1986, we prayerfully committed to meeting a community need by offering quality child care.  A Christian Child Care Center provides children a loving, Christian environment teaching that God is Love as well as seeking to model Christian principles for each family that uses the child care center.  The child care ministry is dedicated to offering families in our community access to affordable, reliable childcare for for 6 weeks old through fifth grade.

Dear Parents,

Mechanicsville Baptist Church is pleased to share its facilities with the Mechanicsville community families who want quality Christian Child Care for their young children.  Our church and I want good experiences for all boys and girls.  We feel that our location provides a wonderful place for boys and girls to learn, play, and receive care when parents are working.  We strive to do all this in a Christian environment.

Not only does our church provide a place where children are loved and cared for while their parents work, but our church also opens its doors to all of this community to become a part of the church.  We invite your family to come to MBC to study the Bible and worship with us on Sunday.  We invite you to join us for fellowship times as well as specialized music and mission instruction times for the children on Wednesday evenings.  For all of the church activities, child care parents are welcome to participate.

Please know that our child care is a ministry and we look forward to providing care

for your children.
